Partner | Financial Advisor
Dustin Insley
Based in northern Michigan, Dustin partners with families, business owners, and entrepreneurs to build, protect, and transition multigenerational wealth. His process begins with a deep understanding of each client’s goals and values, followed by the design of tailored strategies that preserve capital, optimize growth, and create clarity for the future. What Dustin loves most about this work is helping people cut through the complexity — clarifying goals, simplifying decisions, and building plans that evolve as life does. Whether it is preparing for retirement, funding education, protecting what matters most, or clearly defining ‘legacy,’ Dustin believes your financial “blueprint” should be as unique as your story.
His mission is clear: to serve as a trusted financial guide and long-term partner—helping clients confidently navigate the complexities of wealth management while achieving their vision of success.
EXPERIENCE
Dustin’s journey in financial services began in 2016 with a simple but driving purpose: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people around him. Over the years, he built deep expertise at a large national investment firm — managing a local office and having the privilege of guiding hundreds of individuals and families through their financial journeys. That experience became the foundation of everything he does today.
EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
Dustin attended Santa Ana College located in Southern California and achieved his Firefighter 1 Certificate. After an injury that hindered that career, he ran several businesses before pursuing a career as an advisor. He holds the series 7 and 66, life and health insurance licenses and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation.
PERSONAL
Outside of work, Dustin’s family is everything. After nine wonderful years in Hawaii, he and his wife Kate, traded the Pacific Ocean for the beauty of Northern Michigan — and they have not looked back (although he misses surfing!). They are raising four amazing kids (Emalia, Stevie, Wyatt, and Willow) and have genuinely fallen in love with their Northern Michigan community, the lakes, and yes, even the winters.
